Dear Leaders, Mentors, Founding Members of Various Forums, Advisors, and Well-Wishers of Engineers Welfare Federation (EWF),
Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuhu,
It is said that excellence is achieved by going above and beyond expectations. With that spirit, we express our heartfelt gratitude for the invaluable contributions each of you has made in enriching our community through the efforts of EIPF, MEF, HSEPF, EEPF, CEPF, ChEPF, and, of course, EWF.
We’ve always strived to organize impactful programs under the banner of EWF, aiming to elevate our mission and keep the flame of our collective efforts burning brightly. However, as we reflect on our recent activities, we have noticed the absence of many of our esteemed Founding Members, Mentors, and Advisors at our routine events. We fully understand the demands on your time, and though we know participation isn’t always feasible, we recognize how important your guidance and presence are to the success of EWF.
To address this and further strengthen our community ties, we were pleased to host the EWF Founder’s/Well-Wishers Meeting on 25th January 2025, an exclusive gathering for our mentors, founding members, and advisors. The event turned out to be a resounding success, thanks to the insightful discussions, thoughtful feedback, and the generous time given by everyone in attendance.
Event Highlights:
- Date & Time: The meeting took place after ISHA prayer, from 7:15 PM to 9:00 PM 25th Jan 2025.
- Venue: Memories Hall (EWF Old Venue), Mangaf Block 4.
- Agenda: The meeting was informal, with a brief update on our activities, followed by an open forum for feedback and suggestions.
The open discussions that followed were not only productive but also inspiring, strengthening our resolve to continue our mission of service.
After the meeting, we gathered for a dinner where everyone had the opportunity to connect further, reinforcing the sense of community and shared purpose that defines EWF.
We are grateful for your continued trust and unwavering support. Your participation and insights will help guide us as we continue our efforts to uplift those in need. Together, we are making a lasting and positive impact on the lives of many.
Alhamdulillah, the program was a great success, and we truly enjoyed your company. We are deeply thankful to each one of you for taking the time to attend. Your presence made a real difference.
We have carefully noted all of your valuable suggestions. A special thanks to everyone for your encouraging messages and thoughtful ideas throughout the event.
It’s often said that people may forget how quickly a task was completed, but they will always remember how well it was done. Your input and feedback truly elevated the quality of our program.
After organizing this event, we, as the EWF Team, felt the support and guidance of our senior colleagues—our big brothers—who are always there to mentor us whenever we need.
As per your suggestions during the program, In Sha Allah, we plan to arrange a Brainstorming Workshop where we can all come together to discuss and develop a Long-Term Strategy for the next 10 years. We will also be forming an EWF Strategic Planning Committee, as discussed.
In line with your feedback, we are considering working on strategies such as:
- Promoting Entrepreneurship
- Addressing Membership Mobilization
- Developing Software Solutions for automated emails/feedback
- Offering Customized Training Programs
- Designing programs to develop specialized professionals like Design Engineers, Loss Prevention Engineers, etc.
